Port Expansion Units (PEU's) are used for connecting all Central Office lines
and station equipment and are available in two versions, the PEU-200 and the PEU-205.
The PEU205 serves as the first Port Expansion Unit in each Telecor VS1 business
telephone system. It features six External Device Contacts with two zone page
outputs for overhead paging systems, two music inputs for music and/or
promotions on-hold and two dry contact relays to control electronic door locks,
buzzers or sirens.
The first eight ports can be configured as either Central Office (loop start)
ports or stations. The remaining eight ports can be configured as stations only.
The PEU-205 includes a 26-pin port for daisy chaining additional PEU's, a 2'
26-pin cable, a 6' 15-pin cable, rack and wall mounting brackets.
